Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou (25 June 1963 – 25 December 2016), known professionally as George Michael, was an English singer, songwriter, and record producer who rose to fame as a member of the music duo Wham! He was best known in the 1980s and 1990s with his style of post-discodance-pop, with best-selling songs such as "Last Christmas" and "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go". Dynasty is an American prime time television soap opera that aired on ABC from January 12, 1981 to May 11, 1989. The series, created by Richard and Esther Shapiro and produced by Aaron Spelling, revolved around the Carringtons, a wealthy family residing in Denver, Colorado.The series was ABC's competitor to CBS's prime time series Dallas, and starred John Forsythe as oil magnate Blake CarringtonLinda Evans as his new wife Krystle and later Joan Collins as his former wife Alexis. Prince was renowned as an innovator and was widely known for his eclectic work, flamboyant stage presence, and vocal range. He is regarded as the pioneer of Minneapolis sound; his music integrates a wide variety of styles, including funkrockR&Bsoulpsychedelia, and pop. Prince was born in Minneapolis and developed an interest in music as a young child, writing his first song when he was seven years old. Denise Katrina Matthews (January 4, 1959 – February 15, 2016), formerly known as Vanity and sometimes credited as Denise Matthews-Smith or D.D. Winters, was a Canadian singer, songwriter, dancer, actress and model, who turned away from her acting and music career to concentrate on evangelism. Vanity's career lasted from the 1980s until the early mid-1990s.
She was the lead singer of the female trio Vanity 6 from 1981 until it disbanded in 1983. The group was well known for their 1982 R&B/funk hit "Nasty Girl". Vanity's music career also included two solo albums on Motown RecordsWild Animal andSkin on Skin, as well as the hit singles "Pretty Mess", "Mechanical Emotion", and "Under the Influence". She also had a successful acting career, starring in films The Last Dragon52 Pick-Up, and Action Jackson.

Bowie was a figure in popular music for over four decades, and was known as an innovator, particularly for his work in the 1970s. His androgynous appearance was an iconic element of his image, particularly in the 1970s and 1980s. Bowie's first hit song, "Space Oddity", reached the top five of the UK Singles Chart after its release in July 1969. The daughter of Nat King Cole, Natalie rose to musical success in the mid–1970s as an R&B artist with the hits "This Will Be", "Inseparable", and "Our Love". After a period of failing sales and performances due to a heavy drug addiction, Cole re-emerged as a pop artist with the 1987 album Everlasting and her cover of Bruce Springsteen's "Pink Cadillac". In the 1990s, she re-recorded standards by her father, resulting in her biggest success, Unforgettable... with Love, which sold over seven million copies and also won Cole numerous Grammy Awards. She sold over 30 million records worldwide. On December 31, 2015, Cole died at the age of 65 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, due to congestive heart failure
